DESCRIPTION:Haku turns 1 and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with our community in a new space\, Zameen Art House\, a creative collective based on Granville Island in Vancouver. \nEvent Flow: \n7:00 PM – 7:45 PM | Guided Meditation & Sound Journey Led by the wonderful Parmis Ataei\, we will start the evening by grounding ourselves with a 45-minute meditative sound journey. Parmis will guide you into a deep relaxation\, connecting mind and body with healing sounds to bring you into the present moment. Prepare to leave your stresses behind and open your heart for the rest of the evening. 7:45 PM – 8:30 PM | Poetry & Storytelling by Queer Soul Poets After the meditative experience\, the brilliant artists from Queer Soul Poets will gently wake us from our inner journeys with a powerful 45-minute performance of poetry reading and storytelling. Expect a seamless blend of words\, emotions\, and shared experiences\, creating a space for deep reflection and expression. 8:30 PM – 10:00 PM | Live Music Jam The night will crescendo into a soulful live music jam\, where the transition from poetry to rhythm becomes an organic and harmonious journey. All instruments and voices are welcome—so bring your own\, or simply come ready to immerse yourself in the flow of creativity! We’ll be jamming together for an hour and a half\, making music that celebrates our community and the arts. \nWhat to Bring: \nYoga Mat or blanket for the meditation Water Bottle to stay hydrated Musical Instruments (optional) if you’d like to join the live music jam Notebook or journal (optional) for reflecting during the meditation or poetry readings
