Voice & Expression – Level 2 Workshop | 4-Session | 12 hours
This workshop is designed for actors and performers looking to deepen their vocal and expressive skills for stage performance. Through practical exercises and guided exploration, participants will:
Identify and develop unique vocal characteristics (such as stammer, slurred or weak articulation, accents) and learn techniques to refine or transform them for performance
Understand the role of accent and articulation in speech, expression, and character development
Learn how emotions and facial expressions align with vocal delivery for an integrated performance
Use mental imagery and visualization to enrich vocal expression
Strengthen vocal power and clarity through targeted exercises
Explore musical elements of speech: pitch, rhythm, tempo, volume, and tone
Develop sensitivity to punctuation, phrasing, and the structural nuances of dramatic texts
Practice emotional connection and internalization of text through embodiment exercises
Rehearse theatrical texts with a focus on vocal delivery and expressive precision
