About the film
سرخ پوست (also known internationally as The Warden) is a 2019 Iranian mystery drama written and directed by Nima Javidi, starring Navid Mohammadzadeh and Parinaz Izadyar.
In late1960s Iran, an old prison is being emptied to make way for an expanding airport. As the warden oversees the final transfer, officials discover that one condemned inmate has vanished without a trace, and seemingly without a way out. With reputations and futures on the line, the search becomes a tight, time-pressured descent into doubt, power, and conscience.
