One-Person Mobile Filmmaking Workshop: Professional Filmmaking Without a Team or Professional Gear

In this hands-on workshop, participants will embark on a journey into the world of professional mobile filmmaking through two three-hour sessions with the renowned Iranian director Abdolreza Kahani. In “Solo Filmmaking,” you will learn the basics of film production without the need for a team. By the end of the course, you’ll have the opportunity to create a short film under the direct supervision of Abdolreza Kahani.

Kahani used this very method to create his successful film “Ziyaratgah,” which was recently nominated for the prestigious Edinburgh Award and made it to the final list of Canadian films for the Oscars.

Kahani is coming to Vancouver for the screening of his new film, “Nina,” and has created this valuable opportunity for us to learn from his experience in this modern approach to filmmaking.
