A Night of Music for the Azraq Playground Project
Join us for a lively evening of jazz, Persian guitar, and magic in support of a new playground for children living in the Azraq Refugee Camp in Jordan.
About the cause
The Power of Play is a Vancouver-based charity organization and global movement working with universities and communities around the world to design playgrounds and trauma-relief programs for children.
Designed with and for local communities, these playgrounds are more than places to play. They are symbols of hope, healing, recovery, and the right to be a child. The Power of Play believes that play is not a luxury, but an essential part of childhood and emotional well-being.
This spring, we are raising funds to build a playground in the Azraq Refugee Camp, Jordan. All proceeds from this event will go directly toward the construction of the Azraq playground.
