Wax Ring Bar: Intro to Wax Carving Workshop
From soft wax to solid silver.
A fun, beginner-friendly introduction to wax carving where you’ll create and personalize your own wax ring.
Learn the basics of ring sizing, shaping, and carving while adding your own creative touch with textures, fingerprints, initials, or other unique details to make your design truly one of a kind.
No experience needed—just bring your creativity! All tools, materials are included.
Workshop Details
Led by: Hasti Shadi
Duration: Approximately 3 hours (please allow up to 4 hours depending on each participant’s pace).
Capacity: 6 participants
Workshop Fee:
- CAD $85 per person
- CAD $150 Bring a friend (2 tickets)
Level: Beginner-friendly
Optional Sterling Silver Casting
If you’d like to turn your design into a wearable piece, your finished wax ring can be professionally cast in sterling silver for an additional fee. Completed rings will be cast, cleaned, polished, and ready for pickup approximately two weeks after the workshop.
Casting fee: $55
Sterling silver: Charged separately based on the final weight of your ring.
A typical ring weighs: 6–9 grams.
Sterling silver is currently approximately: $4 per gram (subject to market fluctuations).
Limited spots: Only 6 participants per workshop to ensure personalized guidance. Early registration is recommended.
