Our beginner-friendly first semester is designed to build a strong foundation in piano playing while making learning fun and engaging! Each session is 30 minutes, ensuring an optimal balance of focus and enjoyment for young learners.

• Introduction to basic piano techniques
• Developing rhythm through interactive activities
• Encouraging familiarity with simple musical pieces

🎵 Engaging Activities:

✔ Hand Position Games – Fun exercises to help children learn correct hand positioning and finger numbers.
✔ Simple Pieces – Easy and enjoyable songs from the RCM Prep A or Nancy Faber’s Adventure Series to build confidence and familiarity.
✔ Rhythm Clapping – Interactive clapping games to develop an internal sense of rhythm and beat.
✔ Sight-Reading Introduction – Basic sight-reading exercises to help children recognize simple notes and rhythms with ease.

🌟 End-of-Semester Performance 🎶

At the end of the semester, students will have the opportunity to showcase their progress in a mini performance for parents and peers. This recital encourages confidence, stage presence, and a sense of accomplishment!
