Linocut Printmaking: Tote Bag Workshop

Join us for a hands-on introduction to linocut printmaking, where you’ll turn a simple idea into a bold design and print it onto a fabric tote bag.
You’ll be guided step by step through designing, transferring, carving, inking, and printing on fabric.
No drawing experience is needed. This workshop is beginner friendly and focused on enjoying the slow, tactile process of making by hand.
What you’ll learn
- Create a simple printable design
- Transfer your design onto linoleum
- Use basic safe carving techniques
- Ink and print on fabric
- Reuse your linocut block for future prints
You’ll take home
- 1–2 hand-carved linocut blocks
- A custom-printed tote bag
- Test prints on paper
