This show blends your suggestions and stories with a selection of songs performed live by Bahareh Poureslami, all feeding into a fully improvised theatre performance.

Every memory you share, every Yalda detail you throw our way, and every song Bahareh brings to the stage becomes part of the storytelling. Scenes unfold in real time – shaped by the Iranian experience in Vancouver, interpreted through English-language improv, and grounded in the music we all grew up with.

Expect:
• Audience memories and prompts woven directly into the show
• Live Iranian pop classics influencing each scene
• Improvised theatre that’s playful, specific, and never repeated
• A Yalda-inspired night made for the local diaspora community

We cannot wait to celebrate theatre, Yalda and your suggestions.
