In Commemoration of the 819th Anniversary of Rumi’s Birth
Celebrate the 819th anniversary of the birth of Jalal ad-Din Rumi with an afternoon of reflection, storytelling, poetry, and live music inspired by one of history’s greatest mystical poets.
Theme: Love · Surrender · Trust · Inner Transformation
The gathering opens with a thoughtful talk on The Alchemy of the Journey (Kimiyaye Safar), exploring the transformative nature of every spiritual and human journey.
The afternoon continues with a narrated performance of Rumi’s timeless tale of The Old Harper (Pir-e Changi), brought to life through expressive storytelling and the soulful sound of the tanbur.
Through story, poetry, and music, we are invited into Rumi’s world—a journey of love, surrender, trust, and the rediscovery of the self.

به مناسبت هشتصد و نوزدهمین سالروز تولد مولانا
در سالروز تولد مولانا، همسفر میشویم با اندیشه و روایت داستانی از مثنوی معنوی او. این گردهمایی با گفتاری دربارهٔ «کیمیای سفر» آغاز میشود و با روایت داستان «پیرِ چنگی» از مثنوی معنوی، همراه با نوای دلنشین تنبور، ادامه مییابد. در کنار هم، از رهگذر داستان، شعر و موسیقی، به تماشای سفری درونی مینشینیم؛ سفری از عشق، اعتماد، رهایی و بازگشت به خویشتن، آنگونه که مولانا به زیبایی ترسیم کرده است.

این گردهمایی با گفتاری دربارهٔ «کیمیای سفر» آغاز میشود؛ تأملی بر معنای سفر، دگرگونی و سلوک در اندیشهٔ مولانا.
